Importing text
Text required for your publication may have been created in another application, e.g. a word processor. Text from other sources can easily be imported into your Publisher publications.
How to: Import text
Create a text box or click into an existing text box.
Display the Insert ribbon and click on the Insert File button (Text group). The Insert Text dialogue box is presented.
Locate and click on the required file.
Click on OK.
The text is imported.

In this exercise you practise importing text.
Using the publication Business coaching news, click in the second text box.
Display the Insert ribbon, then click on the Insert File button.
The Insert File dialogue box is presented.
Locate and click on the supplied Word file: Business coaching
Click on OK. The text flows into the 2-column layout.
Press to select all the text.
Change the font size to 11 pt.
Change the column layout to 3 columns. Note the difference (how much text is on each line.
Change the layout back to 2.
Which is easier to read? 3 columns or 2?
